Gas cylinders
Cylinders are intended for storage and supply of propane-butane mixture to the burners.
When manufacturing air balloons SPE «RUSBAL» uses own-manufactured aluminum cylinders АТ104.500 of 50 l capacity.
While operating the air balloon either CB2900 cylinders by «Cameron Balloons» or VA50 cylinders by «Schroeder Fire Balloons» can be also installed aboard.

On the top of the cylinder there is a shut-off valve with an internal dip tube, connected to its lower part, taking the liquid gas from the bottom of the cylinder
There is a cover on the cylinder required for protecting the cylinder from fast cooling when climbing to a high altitude and from possible impacts during transporting.
The following parts are installed on the cylinder its top:
- a valve with a connector;
- a nipple, used for fuel quantity control of the cylinder;
- a pressure relief valve to protect from excessive internal pressure;
- a fuel quantity indicator (not installed on АТ104.500.00 cylinders), the indication appears when the fuel level drops below 30%.
